Brian Monahan leads vertical strategy for Pinterest, helping create category-specific solutions for Pinterest's largest partners. He helped start one of the first digital ad agencies in San Francisco and later held various executive roles at IPG, including running digital for the global Microsoft account, launching IPG's programmatic trading desk and managing the IPG Media Lab. Monahan also spent time at Magna Global before going to the client side to lead marketing at Walmart.com. There, he grew monthly uniques from 55 million to 85 million. He is a co-founder of NewCo, a media and events company for innovative businesses on a mission. Monahan has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation (Advertising Hall of Achievement) and Ad Age (Media Maven).
